You may have noticed changes to our website, including the new logo and color changes. This is because I received a call from Rotary International and their brand center manager and have been working with them to be “Brand Compliant”
They also asked for a few changes to the app. These include removing the “Mark of Excellence”.
Use of Rotary marks:
Since the use of the Rotary Master Brand Signature (MBS) without any identifiers is not permitted per the Rotary Code of Policies, the Rotary MBS with People of Action should not appear on the website.
Please remove the Rotary Master Brand Signature (MBS) with People of Action from the website.
Since this is a project that you have undertaken personally and not a club or a district project, you may want to consider using a brief summary of what functions the site provides instead of a logo. For example, POAphotos.com allows you to add People of Action campaign graphics to your photos.
Since Rotary’s brand guidelines require that the Rotary Mark of Excellence (the Rotary wheel) cannot be used without an identifier, it should not appear anywhere on the website.
Please remove the Rotary Mark of Excellence.
Since Rotary’s brand guidelines require that the simplified wheel cannot be used without the word Rotary next to it, the simplified Rotary wheel (which appears as an icon in the photo app) cannot be used.
Please choose another icon in the place of the Rotary wheel.
Use of the word Rotary:
Please change the name Rotary People of Action Photo Editor.
The photo app has been updated to version 1.6.0. Please clear your browser cache.
